In the Hindi gathering of Bazm-e-Amin the speech this 9 years old girl did, opened up the doors of heart and mind, she said: If you board a bus and conductor comes, you give money to him and ask for the ticket, the conductor asks, ticket for which destination? You say I do not know where I have to go? Give ticket for anywhere, you are travelling and you don’t even know the destination, then how will you travel? Same is the condition of the person who is doing actions during his life journey but does not have any intention before these actions rather it is like the condition of the traveler without destination, the truth is like passenger without ticket. You must have seen that from place to place on buses and bus stations it is written, boards are displayed “beware the one without ticket” will get strict punishment. The passenger without ticket deserves punishment, similarly one doing acts without any intention is of the same condition that he is spending the given time and capabilities by Allah سبحانہ و تعالی in spending on actions without any intention and so all of his time and capabilities and energy are being wasted without any purpose. Is this little punishment? And then again if he corrected his intention and started working with sincere intention then how much reward he would have got. So, he will not only lose this reward and will waste his time and energy also in various actions, without any intention of getting reward so it is a double punishment and wrong and bad intention person is like a passenger with the wrong ticket that he has to go to Delhi whereas, has taken the ticket to Saharanpur and has sat in a bus, he will have to pay the penalty of travelling without ticket and will also lose the money of the ticket of Saharanpur. Thus, this is more loss. Similarly, purpose and destination is to please Allah سبحانہ و تعالی and place of his reward heaven and in heaven there are promises of reward and blessings of good deeds but if a person does not have intention for these and is just doing some acts to show off and based on hypocrisy then all his effort will go waste and will get punishment too, for such actions from Allah سبحانہ و تعالی, we have read in Fazail-e-Amaal that foremost will be the accountability of three people, on the Day of Judgment and one of them will be scholar, he will be asked that you were given knowledge, did you do justice with it? He would say O’ Allah سبحانہ و تعالی! I obtained knowledge and taught it to many people and use to do sermons and speeches; it will be ordered that he is a liar and would be thrown into hell face down. Then a wealthy will be called and he will be questioned that we gave you wealth, how much from it you spent in my way? He will say that I spent the wealth on the well being of poor and needy and other good deeds, order will be that he is a liar; he spent all this, so that he is known as a generous person and he would be thrown face down in the hell. Then a martyr will be called and he will be asked that what did you do in my way? He will say that I did Jihad (holy war) and I did Jihad in your way and sacrificed my life, order will be that he is a liar, he did all this so that he is called a martyr and so he has been called and then he will also be thrown in the hell face down. May Allah سبحانہ و تعالی forgive us, thus, no intention or bad intention is a matter of extreme bad luck and deprivation. Few years back, I heard this speech from this girl in the gathering of Bazm-e-Amin and many times this speech warned me again and again from the bottom of my heart rather from every core of my body this pray came out that how well merciful and glorified Allah has made the purpose and obligation for us to preach and how blessed is this system to open up the doors of knowledge and good deeds in our hearts and minds. When a person takes a step towards preaching and starts getting ready for it then not only his practical life is improved but also strange doors of knowledge and wisdom and mercy of Allah opens up before him. This 9 years old girl has made us understand the importance of pure intention and deprivation and bad luck, with such an example which neither did we read in some books nor heard before from some Hakeem. No doubt preaching is a good act for every problem and every stage of life.
